Livingston, Montana

The city of Livingston sits along the Yellowstone River where it bends from north to east towards Billings, Montana. In July 1806,  Captain William Clark of the Lewis and Clark Expedition camped on the city's present outskirts on the return trip east. Livingston also became the first gateway to America's first National Park - Yellowstone. The city was the home of Calamity Jane for 20 years and has been used as the filming location for multiple movies, including A River Runs Through It and The Horse Whisperer
